Lindsey is a corrupt and malicious lawyer sent to confront Chase after she exploits a loop hole in in The Dabareh Corporation's restraining order against her. Following her conversation with Kristen Herlacher at Dabareh, Lindsey delivers a renewed and strengthened restraining order and threatens that any further contact with Dabareh will result not only in the end of her career, but also the careers of her partner and supervisor.
- Lindsey's name and the name of his lawfirm are a nod to the series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and it's spinoff Angel. The earliest draft of the script was more obvious in this regard, as the name of the lawfirm was Wolfram & Hart. It was changed partly out of concern for licensing issues, but also because the episode already contained overt referencs to Battlestar Galactica, Doctor Who, and Beowulf.
- Lindsey continues the theme of "a comforting whisper," as he is seen with his hand on Doug's shoulder, while whispering in his ear.
- He was scripted to appear again in the fifth episode (SA: Talitha Cumae), however the actor's sister was competing in the 2008 Summer Olympics in Bejing and he flew out to support her. The scene was rewritten, though there still remains a passing reference to him.
